Licensed Therapist – Contract Position
Abhaya Wellness wishes to serve men and women (18+) at the OP level of care as well as offering numerous amenities to help enable clients to maintain the change in their lives.
Abahaya Wellness offers an evidence-based, holistic approach to mental health and substance use disorder treatment focusing on skills based therapeutic modalities, community resourcing, trauma informed care practices and the building of relationships between clients and staff. Abhaya Wellness prohibits any risk of physical or psychological harm to individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Providing individual, couples, family, or group therapy sessions to clients, based on the specific contract and the clients’ needs
- Assessing clients’ mental health and emotional well-being to develop treatment plans
- Keeping accurate and detailed records of clients’ progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, or case managers, to ensure that clients receive the best possible care
- Staying current with the latest advances in therapy and treatment by participating in continuing education opportunities
- Complying with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines
