Carly Rodriguez, a Florida native, has called North Carolina home for the past eight years. She holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently, Carly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Associate) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (Associate).
Carly’s lifelong interest in behavioral health led her to social work, a field that resonates with her belief in understanding system-level impacts on mental health. She brings valuable experience working with both groups and individuals and is deeply committed to helping clients define and achieve their personal goals. She can help clients navigate topics including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.
Known for her laid-back, non-judgmental, and supportive therapeutic style, Carly integrates modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her aim is to be a supportive resource, guiding clients through self-reflection amidst life’s inherent challenges.
