LCMHC-A, LCAS-A

Therapist

I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward the life they want. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCAS-A), I work with individuals facing substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and other mental health concerns.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly explore their experiences, identify obstacles, and develop effective strategies for growth. I draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based interventions, and relapse prevention techniques to help clients build resilience and create lasting change.

Before entering clinical practice, I worked as a school counselor in a Title I school, supporting students from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and family backgrounds. This experience strengthened my appreciation for the unique challenges people face and reinforced my commitment to meeting clients with empathy, respect, and cultural humility.
