Anum Garraway earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A) dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. Anum works with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, intimate personal violence, and emotional regulation. Her approach is compassionate and collaborative, focusing on helping clients build resilience and achieve meaningful growth. In addition to her clinical expertise, Anum is fluent in both English and Urdu and is proud to offer full therapeutic services in either language, ensuring accessibility and cultural sensitivity for diverse communities.

Anum works with individuals, couples, and families. Her mission is to help clients move beyond their struggles by providing guidance and support that fosters an authentic therapeutic alliance. Through this alliance, clients are empowered to cultivate genuine self-compassion, resilience, and practical tools that lead to a more fulfilling quality of life. Anum strives to create a safe, welcoming space for all her clients. She integrates a range of therapeutic theories and frameworks, including Trauma-Informed Practices, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Post-Traumatic Growth Practices, Couples Therapy, Mindfulness, and Self-Compassion approaches. With warmth and openness, Anum invites clients to explore their past, present, and future as they work together toward healing and growth.
