Danielle Tomlinson

Danielle Tomlinson is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) whose therapeutic style is warm yet direct, relational, and collaborative. She studied psychology at Campbell University and went on to earn a master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Individual Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Danielle has clinical training and experience working with individuals, couples, and families across multiple levels of care. She believes in seeing clients as people rather than just problems. Danielle works closely with clients to identify their current situation and desired outcomes, focusing on bridging that gap through exploration and understanding.

Mindful awareness is a cornerstone of her approach, and she guides clients in examining the patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be keeping them feeling stuck. Recognizing that individuals exist within a broader context, Danielle is passionate about helping couples and families navigate conflict, resolve issues, and build trust and intimacy.

She draws from a range of therapeutic modalities, including The Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Internal Family Systems. With a master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Individual Counseling and extensive clinical training, Danielle has experience working with individuals, couples, and families across multiple levels of care.

Danielle does not adhere to a “one size fits all” approach; instead, she is committed to introducing clients to the tools and strategies that best fit their unique goals. Through her work, she aims to foster healing and connection in the lives of those she supports.
